Police searching for missing baby, mother out of Hampton

An Amber Alert was issued for a missing Hampton infant and her mother, according to a news release.

Chloe Johnson was last seen with her mother on April 30, affiliate WTKR reports.

Sult wouldn't detail how exactly police arrived at the conclusion that Johnson and her child had been abducted, saying only that the investigation had cobbled together nuggets of information from interviews, social media and technology. She was last seen at the 1900 block of Hastings Avenue in Hampton, Virginia. They were in a 2013 black, four-door Kia Optima, with Virginia license plates of VAW-2197. Police describe Keir Johnson as being 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Chloe's mother Keir Johnson is missing and was also possibly abducted, police said.

Police say the baby is likely abducted by a woman. She was last seen in blue jeans and a t-shirt.

The alert says Chloe is 2 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 20 pounds.
