Ultra-powerful iMac Pro revealed, plus faster MacBooks and macOS High Sierra!

Even the ruddy MacBook Air is getting an upgrade, with Apple announcing that it's getting a "bump in megahertz". Apple is also touting faster graphics courtesy of AMD, along with USB-C support. All variants of the 27 inch iMac now feature Apple own Fusion Drive with up to 50% faster SSDs.

Apple looks like it's touting the new iMac Pro as the firm's most powerful Mac computer ever in the history. The 2017 updates offer displays that are 43 percent brighter and support 1 billion colors-they really were stunning in person. Weighing just two pounds and measuring 13.1mm thin, MacBook is our thinnest and lightest notebook for all-day, on-the-go computing. Xeon processors with up to 18 cores will be an option that you can choose from. All now come armed with an Intel Kaby Lake Core i7 processor where the configurations vary.

All MacBook Pro refreshes will arrive with Apple's Touch Bar with Touch ID with 500-nit Retina display, and Thunderbolt port.

MacBook prices start at $1,299 while the non-Touch Bar version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro will also start at $1,299.

Finally, Apple will be releasing new space gray wireless accessories - Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad 2 - to go with the space gray design of the iMac Pro.

Apple reiterated it will make a new "completely redesigned, next-generation Mac Pro architected for pro customers who need the highest-end, high-throughput system in a modular design, as well as a new high-end pro display".

WatchOS gets an upgrade too, with the addition of Toy Story watch faces being the most interesting addition unless you're a swimmer in search of more refined workout coaching. "We reengineered the whole system and designed an entirely new thermal architecture to pack extraordinary performance into the elegant, quiet iMac enclosure our customers love - iMac Pro is a huge step forward and there's never been anything like it". The 2017 4K model (which starts at $1,299) features a seventh-generation Core i5 processor, the better screen, and most crucially, Radeon 555 discrete graphics.

As mentioned earlier, this iMac Pro monster which will come out by December will have (at least) three versions.

The iMac Pro will feature the same 27-inch (diagonal) Retina 5K display with 5120-by-2880 resolution that is found on the existing iMac.

This new announcement is one of the several updates Apple has made to the Mac series, as reported by Time. In addition to simply having more computing power, the Xeon and Radeon Pro Vega graphics processors are created to work optimally with professional apps like AutoCAD, Dassault CATIA, and Maya.

One more thing: the iMac Pro looks to be a straight replacement for the cylindrical Mac Pro which was sometimes rack-mounted.
