'American Horror Story: Cult' Reveals Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters' Lovers

After revealing that the seventh season of the horror anthology series would be titled Cult, creator Ryan Murphy is going into a little bit more detail about the new story.

AHS: Cult, the seventh season in Murphy's eerie series, will be set in MI and connect to the 2016 presidential election - with the assistance of creepy clowns who want to "set you free" and "make you strong".

"American Horror Story" season 7 will premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 5 on FX.

His latest giveaway? Why, only the character and love interest of everyone's all-time favourite, Evan Peters. "Murphy also revealed in a recent Twitter Q&A that the new season will be the actor's "heaviest season yet", which should make longtime fans excited, considering Peters had a fairly small role in the series" last season, Roanoke.

The new season kicks off on September 5th.

Ryan shared this sketch of Kai and Ally on Instagram, with Evan sporting some rather interesting blue hair, and hinting at a possible relationship between the pair. He accompanied it with the caption: "Ally and Kai in CULT...a love story for the ages". Murphy also revealed that the 11-episode season will be set in MI, a key state in the election results. Up until recently, series creator Ryan Murphy kept the details about Season 7 close to his chest (much like he did a year ago with the Roanoke season) but that all changed during Comic-Con week. It is known that season 7 will be set in MI. Newcomers to "Cult" include Lena Dunham (for a cameo), Billie Lourd, Colton Haynes, and Billy Eichner. "American Horror Story pushes the buttons", said Peters of tackling the current social climate.
