Decapitated head of Swedish journalist Kim Wall found, say Danish police

Møller said that divers had discovered two plastic bags on the ocean floor - one with Wall's intact body parts, the other containing Wall's clothes.

Divers have found the head and legs of Swedish journalist Kim Wall, Danish police said Saturday at a news conference.

Kim Wall was last seen alive on August 10th as she went to interview Peter Madsen on his home-made submarine which was moored near Copenhagen.

Her torso was discovered eleven days after her disappearance and now police in Copenhagen have found her head and limbs during a search of Koge Bay. The autopsy did not, however, to establish the causes of death.

Wall, a freelance journalist based in NY and China, was believed to be working on a feature story about Madsen at the time of her disappearance. Police identified it as Wall's and said blood inside the submarine matched DNA samples retrieved from her hairbrush.

"We have found the head and two legs, but we have not found her arms", Mr. Moller said. He slipped and lost his grasp on the incubate, which at that point hit her on the head, he said.

The detention of Madsen, who has denied manslaughter charges, expires October 31 when a court will decide if he will continue to remain in custody ahead of a possible trial. He has been charged with her killing, which he denies. The last one had been rescued on the 11th of August in the morning, before the sinking of his vessel, that he is suspected of having intentionally scuttled. The inventor originally claimed he had dropped Wall off on land on the night of August 10, according to a police statement.

Wall, a graduate of Columbia University and London School of Economics, was based between Beijing and NY. He continues to deny having killed Kim Wall, but admits to having thrown his body in the sea after she had been the victim of an " accident ". A capable author, her work showed up in The New York Times, the Guardian and TIME, among productions.
