3 dead, 2 injured in Maryland shooting

A Maryland sheriff says three people have been killed and two were wounded during a shooting at an office park in the northeastern part of the state.

Three died at the scene and two were taken to a hospital.

The suspect in both this shooting and the Maryland shooting has been identified as 37-year-old Radee Labeeb Prince, who was considered armed and risky.

CNN reported that Prince fled the scene in a black 2008 GMC Acadia with DE license plate PC064273.

"If anyone sees the suspect, he's armed and risky", said Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler in a press conference, adding that authorities "don't believe others were involved". "They had a look of terror", he said. Investigators are now treating the shooting as a case of workplace violence and don't see ties to terrorism, said Dave Fitz, a spokesman for the Baltimore FBI field office. He said authorities had helicopters in the air and law enforcement on the ground looking for Prince. Court documents obtained by the local paper indicated that he had a restraining order filed against him for punching the coworker in the face and threatening other employees. Use extreme caution if you see him. The person wrote: "I felt very threatened because he is a big guy and very aggressive on me". Nearby schools and businesses were locked down as a precaution. He faced several gun charges in March 2015 in Cecil County, including being a felon in possession of a firearm and carrying a handgun in the vehicle.

A Maryland property manager said Prince often paid his rent late but was always polite and cooperative.

Police are asking people to avoid the area. William Davis with the Harford County Sheriff's Office during a news conference.

Gahler said authorities believe Prince acted alone is still driving the GMC Acadia.
