Netflix Cancels House of Cards

Rapp said Spacey had laid down on top of him, adding in an interview with BuzzFeed News: "I was aware that he was trying to get with me sexually".

Production on the sixth and last season of Netflix's "House of Cards", in which Spacey plays the lead role of Frank Underwood, has since been suspended.

The decision to pause production Tuesday came before a second actor leveled allegations against Spacey.

The Producers Guild of America also announced it had instituted a lifetime ban on Weinstein from holding membership in the organization.

The allegation against Spacey comes as the entertainment industry is reeling from a series of sexual misconduct accusations made against powerful players in the business.

He said he didn't tell his parents or the authorities at the time because he thought Spacey's behaviour might have been "permissible" and anxious he might have "given off a vibe" that he was interested in Spacey.

"He grabbed me very hard", Montana told HuffPost.

But Tony, who was in his 30s at the time, alleged Spacey then followed him to the bathroom, so he "pushed" him and told the "drunk" actor's friend to take him home.

These allegations come around the same time Roberto Cavazos, a Mexican actor, asserted in a Facebook post that he had several uncomfortable encounters with Spacey while the "American Beauty" actor, 58, was the artistic director of The Old Vic theatre in London.

"He was in his underwear, I was fully clothed", John said.

John chose to speak out after actor Anthony Rapp came forward to accuse the Oscar-winning actor of making advances on him when he was just 14 years old and admitted he didn't confide in his parents or authorities at the time because he thought Spacey's behaviour might have been "permissible" and was concerned he himself had "given off a vibe" he was interested in the star.

In the wake of disturbing historical sexual harassment allegations made against Kevin Spacey, the streaming giant had originally revealed yesterday that the upcoming sixth season of 'House of Cards, which is now in the middle of production at the moment, will be its last episodes.

The unnamed person, identified as John, explained he had met the "House of Cards" star in 1984 at a summer theatre programme when he was 16. I still feel what I felt then.

"Every time I tried to give him a drink he'd touch my hand in a weird way".

"I honestly do not remember the encounter, it would have been over 30 years ago".

Spacey said he has a lot of respect and admiration for Rapp and is beyond horrified to hear his story.

As those closest to me know, in my life I have had relationships with both men and women. Spacey was not scheduled to be on set on Monday.

After Spacey's statement, Rapp tweeted: I came forward with my story, standing on the shoulders of the many courageous women and men who have been speaking out to shine a light and hopefully make a difference, as they have done for me. But Sony's TriStar Pictures, which is handling the release, has not commented further on Spacey's involvement, and it's unclear whether he will do any press for the film.

Spacey has been criticised for his statement responding to allegations made by Rapp, who said Spacey attempted to seduce him after a party in 1986, when he was 14 years old.
