Video Shows Officer Punch Woman Who Slapped Him at UM Game

A now-viral video shows a Florida police officer punch a woman in the face after she slaps him while being ejected from a University of Miami football game Saturday night.

There was an apparent hard hit at Hard Rock Stadium during the Miami Hurricanes game, Saturday, but it wasn't on the field.

Meanwhile, Freitas has been charged with disorderly conduct and battery on a police officer.

It is unclear why the woman needed to be removed from the stadium, or if she was arrested.

In a statement to ESPN, Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said the department is "gathering all of the details to gain a clear understanding of what occurred".

Police say Farrington moved the child's body early Sunday to the dumpster in her apartment complex.

According to KARE11 jail records do not show Freitas being held on Sunday afternoon. She did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.

After flailing at one officer and missing, the woman then slaps another across the face. The woman - only identified by her surname as Freitas - was lifted from her seat by four police officers after she started arguing with the other spectators and caused a scene by swearing loudly.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said her body had bruises on her arms, legs and torso.
