Harrison Ford rescues woman from vehicle crash

He and a handful of bystanders reportedly rushed to the woman's assistance and managed to get her safely out of her auto and keep the situation calm until paramedics arrived on the scene. Witnesses say Ford was driving behind her when she lost control.

The woman suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Senior Officer Matt Alonzo of the Santa Paula Police Department was working the incident, which took place around noon.

Ford has also been in his fair share of emergency situations including various crashes and near-crashes connected with his flying hobby over the years. They then pulled over and made their way to the vehicle to help the woman. The Star Wars and Indiana Jones legend was one of the motorists who immediately pulled over to help the woman out of the crashed vehicle. The California Highway Patrol is now investigating the incident. Ford, who was either leaving from or going to the Santa Paula Airport, helped the victim, authorities said.

Indiana Jones to the rescue! He has been involved in two aviation accidents since 2015. He was flying a 1942 Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR, a vintage World War I aircraft, at the time.

This isn't the first time Harrison has shown off his heroic side. Recently, according to Entertainment Tonight, he was seen directing traffic after cars got backed up at a New York City tunnel.
