FA Cup: Moses Rested, Luiz Returns As Norwich Force Chelsea Replay

Given Antonio Conte's regular fixture complaints, he would not have wanted a replay, but Championship Norwich frustrated the Blues, who came closest when Willian's effort was turned round a post by Angus Gunn.

Antonio Conte's men reached the final of the tournament last season and with the Premier League title looking out of reach, the Chelsea boss may target the FA Cup as a good source of domestic silverware.

The replay at Stamford Bridge will take place in the week of January 15. "The schedule is very busy, we have to play two games in the Carabao Cup against Arsenal, but these are the rules and we have to respect that".

After Chelsea brought on Alvaro Morata for Michy Batshuayi - who struggled all game - Norwich responded by bringing on Oliveira as they looked to nick a late victor.

Norwich showed promising signs in the early exchanges without every worrying Caballero, only a misunderstanding between the goalkeeper and Luiz threatening to break the deadlock.

The hosts looked comfortable in defence and also created opportunities, with Josh Murphy dragging a shot wide from inside the box and James Maddison firing over the bar late in the half.

Willian started the second-half well and sold two Norwich defenders with a fake shot before laying off Danny Drinkwater but his shot from the edge of the box went wide of the goal.

Daniel Farke: "Perhaps they had some advantages but we still had our chances". Here's how we predict Chelsea will lineup. We found a bit of difficulty we tried to win the game.

We expect Conte to shuffle his pack during this congested period, and we could see the likes of David Luiz and Michy Batshuayi get some much craved game-time.
