Nike just unveiled their brand new Nike Team USA Medal Stand Collection made exclusively for the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics.

UK Sport has more than doubled investment in winter sports since Sochi, putting up a total of £32m over the four years leading up to the 2018 Games.

However UK Sport's director of performance, Chelsea Warr, believes Britain could potentially win a maximum of 10 medals if everything goes to plan. However, this is a particularly stretching target given the high risks, low margins for error across a range of events we have medal opportunities in, and in some events more unpredictable outdoor terrains that our athletes will need to skilfully navigate. UK Sport has forecast 6-12 medals at the Winter Paralympics, which follows in March. "That's what makes it so exciting, but also very nerve-wracking". Team GB won one medal at each of the 2006 and 2010 Games, both in skeleton.

Medals for the Paralympic games are similar to the Olympic design but with raised repeating patterns in the medal and braille lettering.
