Arron Afflalo suspended 2 games for throwing punch at Nemenja Bjelica

Bjelica put Afflalo in a headlock to keep the fight from escalating further.

Afflalo and Bjelica were ejected after the second-quarter incident in which Afflalo grazed the left side of Bjelica's head with a right-handed punch.

Between yesterday's Ben Simmons-Kyle Lowry beef and the Houston Rockets' attempt to invade the Clippers' locker room, it's been a insane week in the Association...and it's only two days old.

For the next two games, nobody will have to protect themselves from Afflalo, as it has been reported that he has been suspended by the National Basketball Association for the next two games. Both of them should also expect a hefty fine from the league.

Afflalo was involved in an on-court fight on Tuesday night and is expected to be disciplined for his actions. That's part of the game. I was just trying to protect myself & to help him, to calm him down, because he was wild.

"I don't know what's wrong with that guy, but at that point I have to protect myself and my family". What do you want me to do?

After the game, Bjelica was defensive when talking about the incident with ESPN.

It appears as though any tension between the two players did not carry over to their teams. For what it's worth, the Magic improved to 13-31 on the season with a 108-102 victory over the T-Wolves, who fell to 29-17.
