Ranger Rover SV Coupe teaser previews super-luxe SUV

With a two-door layout, the SV Coupe is being specially-built by Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations department, which in recent times has built some special Land Rover models.

For Land Rover's 70th anniversary year, the company has teased the interiors of the upcoming Limited Edition Range Rover SV Coupe. Officially launched at the Geneva Motor Show 2018, the two-door 4x4 SUV will be hand-built in the United Kingdom and limited to just 999 examples.

Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) will pay homage to that first two-door Range Rover with a limited run of special two-door SV Coupes, slated for a March 6 debut at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show.

The auto maker has released a teaser photo which shows the interior of the new Range Rover SV Coupe, as yet there are no pictures of the outside of this new SUV. Expect a hand-assembled interior that'll feature four huge leather seats, handstitched quilted fabrics and a wood finished centre console that'll stretch from the front to the rear of the vehicle. The front passengers are treated with white, diamond-quilted leather seats coupled with a white dashboard and arm rest.

The new vehicle will come with two doors, just as the 1970s version of the Range Rover. The big exterior reveal will have to wait for the Geneva show in early March.

Expect availability, pricing and more details to be revealed when the SV Coupe is revealed to the press and customers in an invitation-only "client commissioning" event in Paris on February 21.

Land Rover Design and Special Vehicle Operations have created the Range Rover SV Coupé, which will be hand-assembled at the SV Technical Centre in Ryton-on-Dunsmore in Warwickshire, UK.

In a statement, Land Rover's head of design, Gerry McGovern, said the Range Rover would have "peerless refinement and breathtaking exterior proportions".
