Did "Black Panther" Really Need African Accent? Chadwick Boseman Says Yes

Did

Groups across America have been hosting screenings or raising money for African-American youth to see the movie. "By the time the climactic battle has broken out - set a world away from the customary razed metropolis of modern comic-book films - you're too busy marveling at its bottomless invention, its big-hearted verve, to truly consider the game-changing revolution playing out in front of you".

Past Coogler star Michael B. Jordan (from "Creed" and "Fruitvale Station") draws praise as the "politically engaged" villainous Killmonger - which is good news for Jordan after he endured 2015's flop featuring Marvel characters, "Fantastic Four".

McDonald's organization MACCLID (McDonald & Associates Collective Collaboration-Light into Darkness) will host the screening February 15 at Regal McCain Mall.

Last, though certainly not least, there's Leticia Wright as Suri, T'Challa's teenage sister - the smartest person in the world.

MACCLID is a partner of the Victory Over Violence campaign.

During a recent appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", the 30-year-old shared with host Ellen DeGeneres how he transformed himself into the Black Panther's nemesis.

I can nitpick the loose first act and the rather rushed third act, as well as wonder out loud why Jordan doesn't have more screen time in the first half of the movie.

Black Panther, starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, and Andy Serkis arrives in United Kingdom cinemas on 13 February.

When middle schoolers at Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta found out they were going to see the "Black Panther" on Friday, they erupted into dancing to an instrumental from the "Black Panther" soundtrack in a now-viral video on Twitter. The intriguing thing about Black Panther is that it doesn't look like a superhero film - more a wide-eyed fantasy romance: "exciting, subversive and amusing". Like with CA:CW, Boseman plays the Black Panther with a detached grace and world-weary sadness.

Along with the wonderful acting and storytelling, Black Panther soars in regards to costumes, production design and soundtrack. So there you have it, Boseman didn't have to undergo auditions and test screenings like, say, Tom Holland, he was just the flawless man for the job.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther starts disappointingly, with animation accompanied by narrated exposition to explain the history of Wakanda - and frankly it's the only part of the movie that doesn't really work, because this kind of introduction just never works.

When a chunk of Wakanda's powerful metal, vibranium, is sold on the black market by arms dealer Ulysses Klaue (a scene-stealing Andy Serkis), it could change the global balance of power. "T'Challa is placed on all those equations".

For Gurira, the way the film depicts her culture was important. I already know that Black Panther's weight in gold at the box office will be in repeat viewings, because we just won't want this cinematic experience to end. This is what will most likely happen with Black Panther, marking another Marvel blockbuster hit.
