The relationship between Luke Shaw and his manager at Manchester United, Jose Mourinho is deteriorating and fast too.
Jose Mourinho has suggested that it is up to Paul Pogba to explain why he has been so inconsistent for Manchester United this season.
"Young had a problem in the last part of the game against Italy, but we think there is a chance for him to recover".
Mourinho declined the opportunity to laud Pogba's outing for France on Tuesday in Russian Federation, where he created Kylian Mbappe's opener and scored for the first time in four months.
"I also don't comment on my players' performances for their national teams".
"It's nothing to do with his injury".
Young played for England last week and could miss out to relegation threatened Swans because of a possible injury, if not Mourinho does have other options but will he go for Shaw?
"I think he is very fine after the injury".
"They've improved a lot, we played them at the start but after that they had a hard period".
"Even his recovery was an example of what a professional should be, I think what MLS and the United States as a football country is going to get is more than what Zlatan is going to get. In his case, not at all".
Shaw played in United's most recent match, a 2-0 FA Cup quarter-final victory over Brighton on March 17, but was substituted at half-time and then pilloried by Mourinho afterwards.
"If I want to change the player after minute five I change the player in minute five".
"That's not true, the last time I spoke to him was when we faced each other in 2004", he said, referring to the 2004 Champions League final when Mourinho's Porto beat Deschamp's Monaco before adding: "I don't speak about my players' global form".
Premier League giants, Manchester United, are reportedly willing to sell Paul Pogba in order to fund a £200m summer spending spree.
"The moment when a new rule comes to football that forbids managers to do that, then I become a pundit".
"But I always say the door is open for everyone so no problem for him but I think so".
