Game 2 of Cavs-Raptors to start at an awkward time

Game 2 of Cavs-Raptors to start at an awkward time

The tipoff time for that game will be 8PM EST/5PM PST on TNT, which is not an unusual start time.

Cleveland's championship odds have plummeted after a prolonged series against the Pacers.

James Harden scored a game-high 41 points, and the Houston Rockets turned a blistering first half into a 110-96 victory over the Utah Jazz on Sunday at Toyota Centre in Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal series.

The Indiana Pacers outscored Cleveland by 40 points over seven games but their season is over.

The Cavs were pushed to seven games by the fifth-seeded Pacers.

LeBron James scored 45 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Indiana Pacers 105-101 in the decisive seventh game of their first-round play-off series Sunday at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

Game 4: Raptors at Cavaliers.

Game 6: Raptors at Cavaliers. However, things can change in the playoffs as teams often perform at a better level. However, Cleveland has the ultimate wild card in LeBron James, and he's proven that he's more than a handful to deal with. A LeBron-led team has yet to lose a first-round series in his brilliant career.

James hasn't lost an Eastern Conference playoff series since 2010, but the Raptors revamped their playing style this season for exactly this moment: to knock off Cleveland and get to the National Basketball Association finals. Cleveland usually matches up against Toronto better than they do against Indiana.

How They Got Here: Toronto beat No. 8 Washington 4-2, and Cleveland beat No. 5 IN 4-3. Yet the Celtics won in seven games.

VanVleet was a key piece of Friday's win, returning from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for all but three minutes of the series' first five games.

LeBron was magnificent throughout, leading the Cavs in points, minutes, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks, but his teammates pulled off the kind of disappearing act that would make David Copperfield jealous.

The numbers don't lie they are the better team in this series and they have home court advantage. DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors to victory in game 5, and that seemed to be the turning point of the series which had played out predictably till that point.

Cleveland also improved to 4-2 all time in Game 7s (3-0 at home, 1-0 at The Q).

Raptors Coach Dwane Casey said he is going to continue running with his bench players throughout the playoffs as long as they continue producing.

Only two players are averaging in double figures for the Cavaliers, they are James (32.7) and Kevin Love (11.0).

"We've been in situations before", James said of the Game 7 starters. The Cavaliers own a 48-38 advantage in the all-time regular season series and took two of three meetings this season, including a 112-106 win at home in the last meeting April 3.

James had 45 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, despite battling cramps and having to head to the locker room in the third quarter for treatment.
