Hitman 2 Release Date and Announce Trailer Revealed

Hitman 2 Release Date and Announce Trailer Revealed

Hitman 2's existence was leaked earlier this week and yesterday we ran an article that correctly reported on a race track mission that'll be in the game.

Continuing the pre-E3 reveals, IO Interactive and WB Games have announced that HITMAN 2 will be coming this November to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

In the game players play as the masterful Agent 47 and embark on a mission to hunt the elusive Shadow Client and unravel his militia once and for all.

The trailer includes a vignette of a Miami racing meet-up location, but "sun-drenched streets and dark and unsafe rainforests" are also on the cards.

Hitman 2 will be released on November 13, but it's already available for pre-order in a number of different editions with varying levels of cool expansions and whatnot.

Newly added to this addition of Hitman is the Co-op Sniper Assassin Mode being the first ever co-op play in the franchise. It will also be the first Hitman game with co-op. IO Interactive is planning to continue with their live content, including the returning contract mode and new gameplay modes planned at and after launch.

For those wannabe assassins who fancy some physical swag, you'll get everything from the Hitman 2 Collector's Edition bundled into an Agent 47-style guncase, a bullet keyring, rubber duck (yes, really!) and a signature coin. For more information, visit www.hitman.com.

Hitman 2 has been announced a few hours ago by Warner Bros.

Hitman 2 will hopefully ideal the assassination sandbox that IO Interactive began with Hitman in 2016, according to a livestream on Twitch. During the reveal stream, its developers hinted that interacting with environments and objects would play a bigger role and "everything in the environment can be deadly".

Hitman 2 picks up right where the last game ended. According to the press release, Agent 47 will also learn about his past during the journey, and it sounds as if it will have major repercussions. A standard edition priced at $59.99, a Silver Edition for $79.99 and a Gold Edition for $99.99.
