The Melrose Place alum was released from jail on Monday, June 25, hours after she was arrested for misdemeanor battery on a police officer and emergency personnel.

An ambulance was called for Locklear - police were concerned for her well-being - and as she was being put onto a gurney, she reportedly kicked an EMT in the chest.

She is now being held on a $20,000 bail.

In an attempt to halt the altercation, VCSO told ABC News that the 56-year-old hit the officer and was subsequently arrested. Upon arriving at the scene, the officers noticed Locklear was "heavily intoxicated".

"She was kicking at and pushing our deputies", Captain Kuredjian said in February.

A search warrant that was executed at her home by the Ventura County Sheriff's Office revealed that during her February arrest, Locklear told deputies she would shoot them if they ever came to her house again.

The actress was arrested over suspicion of driving under the influence in 2008.Heather Locklear was one of TV's biggest stars in the 1980s.

From there, she immediately checked in to a treatment facility, a person close to Locklear said. She later plead not guilty to these four misdemeanor counts of battery in April, according to the Associated Press.

Sheriff's deputies responded to two separate calls to Locklear's residence in Thousand Oaks, California.
